FIRE crews fought a caravan fire in Great Waldingfield on Sunday afternoon.
Three crews from Sudbury and Long Melford were mobilised to the blaze on Folly Road after the alarm was raised just after 3.30pm.
The fire had spread to wood piles and several outbuildings near the caravan, and crews used two main jets and two hose reel jets to fight it.
Potentially flammable cylinders were stored in the buildings but swift intervention from the crews managed to stop the fire reaching them.
Crews took roughly 50 minutes to bring the incident under control and all crews were back at their bases by 5:45pm.
