FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a house blaze in Lowestoft which left one person requiring medical treatment.
Two crews from Lowestoft South and a third from Lowestoft North fire stations were sent to the incident in Princes Street at about 10pm and arrived to find a fire on the ground floor.
Four firefighters wearing breathing equipment used two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
One casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service and the incident was over by 10.41pm. The crews headed back to their stations.
