HUNDREDS of people flocked through the gates at an equestrian show.
The Ipswich Horse Society Spring Show took place at Trinity Park yesterday with an array of jumping and dressage competitions with rosettes up for grabs.
Both riders and visitors travelled from as far as Kent and Cambridge to take part in the event.
Show organiser Margaret Walton said: “Considering the weather we have had this past week, which put people on hold, the show went very well.
“The sun broke out at lunchtime and we had some exceptionally good horse classes, as well as the jumping which was very competitive.
“Overall we had a good show and hopefully we will have raised around £600 for charity.”
Proceeds from the day, which have not yet been totalled, will be donated to the East Anglian Air Ambulance to help with night-time flights.
