THE Easter bunny came early ahead of the holiday weekend.
Just under 400 of the cute creatures were sold at the event at Eldon Farm, at Holywell Row, near Mildenhall, on Wednesday.
Fabian Eagle, auctioneer and organiser of the Easter bunny show and sale, said there were rabbits such as continental giants, Netherland dwarfs and lionheads.
The bunnies were judged, with classes including best giant and best doe and litter. Mr Eagle said about 60 to 70 people attended, including those who owned shops and a selection of families.
It was held in conjunction with the weekly poultry and smallholders’ auction so there were also lots of eggs of various sizes and colours, ducklings and chickens.
