FROM Disney princesses and the Cat in the Hat to Mr Bump and the Enormous Crocodile.
Pupils from Worlingworth Primary School, near Framlingham, dressed to impress for World Book Day.
Parents also came in to read their favourite stories to the children, while the youngsters were asked to match photographs of members of staff with their favourite childhood books.
Teachers had also organised a week long book review competition to inspire pupils to get reading.
Head of school Victoria Gascoyne-Cecil said: “Everyone has really enjoyed it. They have all been inspired and the costumes look fantastic. There is a huge variety.
“The day highlights the importance of reading, not just for school but also for enjoyment and developing the children’s understanding of how language works.”
