A DOG died after a hit-and-run in Lowestoft on Friday morning.
Police are appealing for help to trace a driver after the collision in Caldecott Road, at about 7.30am.
Officers said a black Vauxhall car is thought to have come from the Borrow Road direction, collided with the dog and then drove off towards the end of the road. It is believed to have been driven by a young male with no passengers, and police said the vehicle would have sustained some front-end damage as glass from a headlight was found in the road.
Police are asking the driver, or anyone with information about him, to call Pc Gary Brown at Lowestoft on 101.
