FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze which engulfed a garage containing two vehicles in flames.
The incident took place in Brookland, Tiptree, Essex, at 1.40am, with two fire crews attending the scene.
The firefighters from Coggeshall and West Mersea arrived at the scene to find that the flames had spread to the front of an adjoining house. Using two hose reel jets the incident was brought under control by 2.15am. It is thought to have been caused by an electrical fault.
