A BURGLAR in Clacton stole a games console from a child’s bedroom while the child was asleep.
Police are appealing for information following the burglary in Vicarage Gardens, Clacton on Saturday, October 13.
The offender gained entry to the house between 3am and 3.30am, entering the children’s room and taking a PlayStation 3 games console.
The burglar then attempted to enter the parents’ bedroom, but a woman was awoken and screamed, forcing the suspect to flee.
No one was injured.
The man the woman saw is described as being in his 20s, 5ft 10ins to 6ft, of broad athletic build, wearing a baseball cap, navy blue coloured gillet top with grey sleeves and dark trousers.
