A MOTORCYCLIST has been flown to hospital with a serious leg injury after a collision involving a car.
The man, who is thought to be in his 40s, was left with a fractured shin and suspected pelvic injuries after his motorbike collided with a Toyota just after 4pm.
Police closed Whatfield Road, Aldham Tye, near Hadleigh, while emergency services worked at the scene.
The man, who was conscious, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge by the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Although his injuries are serious, they are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road was reopened at about 5.25pm
