A PROJECT to get live music played in a town centre has been hailed as a success.
‘Stow Summer Music’ is a series of concerts in Stowmarket’s Meadow Shopping Centre held every Saturday in August.
The project has been funded by Stowmarket Town Centre Partnership. Daniel Harvey, public services manager for the town council, who helped organise the event, said: “It puts a smile on people’s faces and helps to brighten the mood in the town.” On Saturday performers Glen Robinson and Dave Collins played.
