BRAINTREE Town manager Alan Devonshire is poised to sign a new striker on loan ahead of Iron’s long trip to AFC Telford on Saturday.
Devonshire was already on the look out for a new hitman but Sean Marks’ dismissal in the 1-0 victory at Ebbsfleet on Tuesday has increased the need for new firepower.
The former West Ham midfielder currently has Kane Sheppard and Josh Dawkin at his disposal ahead of the weekend’s clash in Shropshire but looks set to unleash a new face on the Bucks.
The Iron boss is likely to stick with Danny Naisbitt in goal, meaning there will only be room on the bench for highly-rated England C international goalkeeper Nathan McDonald.
