FIRE crews have tackled a blaze at a bungalow in Brantham this morning.
The fire was reported at just after 6am at a bungalow in Ipswich Road and crews from Holbrook and Manningtree in Essex were sent to the scene.
A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the incident had filled the property with smoke. Everyone inside had safely evacuated from the property by the time firefighters arrived.
The fire originated in the kitchen and involved a fridge freezer.
Crews used a hose reel and jet to tackle the flames, which were out by 7.12am. Crews were back at their stations by 8.14am.
