Ipswich v Huddersfield: Simon Grayson believes his new-look side – minus Jordan Rhodes – have nothing to fear from a trip to Portman Road tomorrow.

The Terriers have made a steady start since returning to the Championship after making some impressive signings including Joel Lynch, Adam Clayton, Oliver Norwood, Keith Southern and James Vaughan.

All of them should start against Ipswich with Sean Scannell missing with a hamstring injury.

Grayson is also spending the last few hours of the transfer window looking to add at least one striker to compensate for the loss of Rhodes – the success of which might determine whether Huddersfield start with a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation.

Grayson said: “Ipswich are looking to make some signings and they’ve got experienced players already, so it’s another tough game.

“Our fans will be delighted with the way we have started the season in terms of performances and we want to keep progressing.

“The first win was important for us (against Burnley) because you don’t want to let it drag on too long, so I was delighted to get that under our belt, and the manner of the victory was especially pleasing for me.

“What we have to do now is carry on working hard and try and maintain those standards we’ve reached in the first three games - and we’ve got the same three points at stake whether Jordan Rhodes is here or he’s not.”
