Two lucky men have received just minor injuries after the light aircraft they were travelling in crashed while landing.
The incident happened at 2.20pm today at the Stapleford Flying Club.
Two ambulances, a rapid response car, a duty manager and the Hertfordshire Air ambulance attended the scene.
Ambulance spokesman, Gary Sanderson, said: “The initial call we received was to a plane that had crashed whilst landing. Paramedics and the critical care team from the Herts Air Ambulance treated and stabilised both men at the scene before they were both taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow with minor injuries.”
