COLIN Healy has finally agreed to stay at Ipswich Town after signing a new one-year deal.

The 31-year-old midfielder has signed for another 12 months at Portman Road, in what will be the Republic of Ireland international’s third season at the club.

Meanwhile, West Brom boss Roy Hodgson has confirmed Gareth McAuley is set to join the Premier League club after refusing a new contract at Ipswich.

Speaking yesterday, after West Brom wrapped up their season with a 3-3 draw at Newcastle, Hodgson said: “It’s likely that he will sign. Nothing has been concluded yet, but we are in discussions with Gareth McAuley and his agent, so it is likely that something will be finalised during the coming week.”
