THREE men have been arrested after an elderly man was assaulted and robbed in Colchester.
The men, aged 23, 24 and 28, from Colchester were arrested yesterday on suspicion of assault and robbery in connection with two incidents.
On Monday an 91-year-old man was allegedly robbed and assaulted in Highwoods Country Park.
A short time later a 27-year-old man was allegedly assaulted in an underpass near Highwoods Square.
The three men are currently in custody where detectives are questioning them.
