Accidents on the A134 at Alpheton, B1125 at Blythburgh and A14 at Haughley New Street have left commuters facing slow-moving traffic as emergency services deal with the aftermath.
Queues are also forming on the northbound A12 at Ipswich, near Belstead, and the A1056, Brandon Road, in Eriswell.
There are no reported cancellations on the region’s rail network, although the 8.30am service from Norwich to Liverpool Street due to call at Ipswich at 9.09am has been delayed by five minutes.
