SEVEN fire crews have battled a blaze which broke out in an Essex pub.
Firefighters were called to the White Hart Pub in Nayland Road, West Bergholt, after a fire broke out in the roof of the building.
After arriving at the scene shortly before 10.50am, crews wearing six sets of breathing apparatus tackled the fire using jets.
Two thermal imaging cameras were used to ensure that there were no further hotspots. The flames had been put out by 12.30pm.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but fire crews are set to carry out an investigation. It is not being treated as suspicious.
