IPSWICH Town striker Connor Wickham has been named npower Championship Player of the Month for February.
Wickham scored four times during the month – including a first senior hat-trick at Doncaster Rovers.
The prize comes after Wickham picked up The Football League’s Young Player of the Month Award last April.
npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: “Wickham has been in excellent form recently.
“His performances this month have shown exactly why he is regarded as one of the hottest young strikers around.
“I’d like to congratulate Connor on behalf of npower, and wish him and his team the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
In League 1, Peterborough United’s Craig Mackail-Smith picked up the npower Player of the Month Award.
Bury’s Ryan Lowe won the npower Player of the Month Award in League 2.
