And Town’s new boss did not deny, or confirm, that Luton Town midfielder Andy Drury was one of his targets.
“We’re in for lots of players,” explained Jewell at this lunchtime’s press conference.
“We’ve made a bid for two players.”
However, Jewell reiterated the fact that he does not have to sell players, or let them go, to bring new players in.
The Town boss is hopeful that one or two new faces will have arrived before the club’s next league game, away at Derby tomorrow week.
