POLICE have charged an Essex man with attacking a male with a bladed item.
The 34-year-old victim suffered a serious wound to his knee after the incident at a farm in Clacton Road, Great Holland, on Friday afternoon.
Officers later charged Robert Cooper, 50, of Tudor Green, Jaywick, with wounding with intent and criminal damage. He will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Police would not say what the bladed item was but a spokeswoman confirmed it was not a knife.
