SUDBURY: Two men are being questioned in connection with three robberies in Sudbury before Christmas
TWO men have been arrested today in connection with three robberies which happened in Sudbury between December 22 and Christmas Eve
Last Wednesday night a woman was assaulted and robbed of her handbag and phone in Suffolk Square, before a man was found collapsed in Newton Road later that night. He had also been assaulted and personal items were missing.
Then, in the early hours of Christmas Eve, a man was assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone on Cornard Road.
Two men, one aged 27 and of no fixed abode and the second aged 25 and from Sudbury, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are currently in custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Station where they will be questioned.
