IPSWICH Town will be seeking to make it a hat-trick of wins over Millwall this season when they travel to the Den for a Championship match tomorrow (kick-off 3pm).

They won 2-1 away in the Carling Cup in September and won 2-0 at Portman Road in a league game at the end of the following month.

Rory Fallon will be available for selection up front after being cup tied for Town’s last two games but Grant Leadbitter remains suspended and Shane O’Connor, Luke Hyam and Brian Murphy continue to be long-term injury casualties.

Jason Scotland, Jake Livermore and Troy Brown are injury doubts, and new manager Paul Jewell must decide whether to make any changes from a side that functioned so well under the caretaker management of Ian McParland in their 1-0 Carling Cup win over Arsenal on Wednesday.

Millwall are enjoying a good season after promotion last term and are close to the play-off places.

Striker Steve Morison is making a name for himself and is one player who will have to be watched in a squad that includes two former Town youngsters in Liam Trotter and Scott Barron as well as loanee Kevin Lisbie.

Welsh international Morison says that he is ready to go higher with Fulham believed to be following his progress.

Morison, 27, has been in sensational form since signing from Stevenage in 2009 and he said: “Every player wants to play at the highest level during their playing career and I am no spring chicken any more.

“I’ve made the step up to the Championship this season and obviously moving to the Premier League would be the last rung on the ladder, so if it happens then I will be ready for it.

“If nothing happens then so be it, but I would never rule out the chance to play in the Premier League because you have to believe in yourself at the end of the day.”

Striker Josh McQuoid is out for a month after tearing ankle ligaments in training having completed his permanent move from Bournemouth last week.
