ROY Keane has revealed that one or two of his players are carrying knocks, following last weekend’s 3-0 win in the snow over Leicester City.
“It’s a case of having to wrap up a few of the players with cotton wool,” revealed Keane during this morning’s press conference.
“One or two of them have been carrying knocks over the last few weeks, but I won’t be revealing any names.
“They would certainly not be able to play two games in three days,” added Keane
Ipswich Town entertain Watford at Portman Road on Boxing Day and, weather permitting, travel to Doncaster Rovers on December 28.
Mark Kennedy (hamstring), Connor Wickham (thigh) and Marton Fulop (ankle) have been three of the players to have recently come back from injuries.
But Keane will be loathe to change a winning team, and it is more likely that changes will kick in for the trip to Doncaster instead.
