A MAN is fighting for his life after being struck by a train in Cambridge last night.
The pedestrian was hit on the track beneath Mill Road bridge just after 8pm on Friday.
Cambridgeshire police attended the scene and the victim was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital where his condition remains unknown.
British Transport Police (BTP) said an investigation into the accident was currently under way.
A spokesman for BTP: “British Transport Police can confirm a male person has been struck by a train and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge via ambulance.”
