A MOTORIST who was killed when the car she was driving was in collision with a lorry has been named.
Christine Ann Cargill, 58, from Wenhaston near Halesworth, died yesterday afternoon.
She was driving a purple Vauxhall Agila along the A1095 between Blythburgh and Southwold.
Police were called just after 1pm yesterday when the vehicle was in collision with a blue Mercedes lorry.
A section of the road was closed while crash investigators carried out their enquiries.
Diversions were put in place and the road reopened at around 7.40pm.
Suffolk police are renewing an appeal for any witnesses to the collision to call Sgt Bob Patterson at the Serious Collision Investigation Team at headquarters on 01473 613500.
