TWO fire crews were called out this morning to deal with a car that had caught alight on the highway.
The blaze was reported in Wratting Road, Haverhill, at about 7am and two crews form the town’s fire station were sent to the scene.
Firefighters arrived to find the car well alight and used two hose reel jets to put out the flames after about 25 minutes.
Police were also called to the incident to help deal with traffic control. Nobody was injured.
