EX-Ipswich Town striker Jon Walters has spoken of the problems in playing for boss Roy Keane, saying that players are always on ‘eggshells’ around him.
Walters, who left for Stoke after a much-publicised falling out with Keane earlier this season, said the Blues boss rarely spoke to him, although every player received an ‘earful’ from the volcanic former Manchester United midfielder.
He also claimed that Keane’s decision to let club stalwarts like Bryan Klug and Charle Woods go affected team morale and damaged the Ipswich mystique.
