AN investigation is under way after a teenager was robbed at knife point while walking through a park.
It happened in Melton, near Woodbridge around 9.30pm on Friday.
The 19-year-old was walking across the playing field at Melton Road with a friend.
He went along a track leading up the hill and sat on a bench near the pond.
He looked around and saw two males behind him.
One of them approached and started to assault the 19-year-old and he then saw that the other male was holding a knife.
The teenager was threatened and handed over his white mobile phone, a silver and black iPod, some tobacco and a lighter.
The two men then ran away but as the victim and his friend walked back along Melton Road they saw one of them near the garage.
The 19-year-old suffered a cut to his finger, a cut to his eyebrow and bruising to his head.
One of the offenders is described as around 5ft 8ins – 5ft 9ins tall, wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and had his face partially covered with black material.
The other was slightly taller and was wearing a white hooded top with a white T-shirt underneath and white tracksuit bottoms.
