A MAN was taken to hospital after a car went into a ditch near a Suffolk village.
Ambulance and fire crews were called to the A143 at Cockfield at 6.06pm today.
On arrival they found a car had gone into a ditch and a man was trapped inside the vehicle.
Two fire engines from Bury St Edmunds and one engine from Melford attended the incident.
Crews were able to release the man and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
