A MAN is due to appear in court today charged in connection with an alleged hit and run in Ipswich.
A 43-year-old pedestrian was hit by a red Toyota MR2, suffering serious injuries in the accident on Monday, August 30.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said a man arrested on Tuesday, September 7, has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop at an injury road traffic collision, failing to report a road traffic collision, driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance.
John Moir, 43, of Belstead Road, Ipswich will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court.
The spokeswoman said the victim is recovering well at home.
