ROY Keane this afternoon confirmed that Stoke City were interested in signing Jon Walters.
However, the Irishman insisted that he didn’t �xpect anymore activity in the transfer market, in terms of players coming in or going out, before this Saturday’s trip to Middlesbrough.
He spoke as new signings Marton Fulop and Mark Kennedy were unveiled at Portman Road.
Keane revealed: “I’ve had lots of conversations with Stoke about Jon Walters, all summer.”
When asked if Walters was likely to leave Portman Road, Keane said: “If they (Stoke) reach an offer that the owner feels is acceptable, then like every other player on the planet, there’s a good chance.”
