PROUD staff at a Suffolk leisure centre have won a top national award, having been ranked the top sports facility in the county.
Bury St Edmunds Leisure Centre is in the top six per cent of facilities in the UK, having won a Quest Award for its management.
Simon Ginders-Coxshall, general manager of the centre in Beetons Way, Bury, said: βI am extremely proud of this phenomenal first-time achievement for the centre.
βIt is a great reward for all the hard work my team put into making this one of the foremost leisure centres in the country.β
The Quest Award is a quality assurance scheme promoted by Sport England for managing sports and leisure facilities.
