TERRIFIED staff at a convenience store in Ipswich were held at knife point this morning as an armed robber demanded takings from the till.
Police are today hunting a man who held up the One Stop store in Cambridge Drive at around 7.20am this morning.
Officers received reports of a man entering the shop with a knife.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said he threatened members of staff and stole money from the till before fleeing.
She said: “No one was hurt in the incident but staff were left extremely shaken.”
The offender is described as black, believed to be in his 30s, of thin build. He is between 5ft 9ins and 6ft tall and was wearing a tan brown hooded top, jeans, sunglasses, red gloves and a green scarf partially over his face.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area around this time this morning, or anyone who may have seen the offender or who may have information about who he is.
