EMERGENCY services were called in this afternoon after a woman was hurt during a crash on the outskirts of Ipswich town centre .
The two-vehicle accident happened around 3.15pm today at the roundabout outside the Novotel hotel near Star Lane.
A silver Rover and another car were involved in a collision in which a woman sustained injuries to her neck and right arm.
The front seat passenger was cut out of the 02 registered Rover and taken to hospital.
Three fire engines, two sets of paramedics and police attended the crash which traffic tailbacks coming into and going out of Ipswich while the casualty was extracted.
Emergency services were forced to seal off the Novotel side of the roundabout off for around 45 minutes.
