FORMER England boss Steve McClaren’s FC Twente side have claimed their first Eredivisie title in the club’s 45-year history with a 2-0 win at 10-man NAC Breda.
Bryan Ruiz and on-loan Chelsea midfielder Miroslav Stoch got the goals for McClaren’s men after NAC midfielder Csaba Feher was sent off.
Twente’s closest rivals Ajax were 4-1 winners at NEC Nijmegen but Martin Jol’s men finished one point adrift of the leaders.
