A MAN armed with a screwdriver has held up a shop in Ipswich this afternoon.
Police officers are appealing for information after the armed robbery at Blockbuster Video.
At around 2.49pm a man entered the shop in Woodbridge Road armed with a screwdriver.
He threatened a female member of staff and stole a quantity of money from the safe.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said nobody had been injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as being a black male, around 6ft tall, of medium build. He was wearing a grey beany-style hat, a grey scarf, jeans and a dark knee-length jacket.
Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or who has any information.
