BURNLEY midfielder Joey Gudjonsson has been suspended for two weeks pending a full investigation after his comments about manager Brian Laws.
Gudjonsson was quoted on an Icelandic website questioning Laws’ management style ahead of the Clarets’ 4-1 win at Hull on Saturday.
The 29-year-old attended a disciplinary hearing at the club on Monday.
Gudjonsson was reported to have told fotbolti.net: “He (Laws) lost the dressing room long ago.
“I think all the players have lost faith in him, the performances say all that has to be said.”
