IPSWICH: Fire crews were called to a meadow to tackle a blaze which ignited ten bails of hay.
Two teams of firefighters from Ipswich’s Princes Street station were called to an area of land off Bobbits Lane to deal with the flames.
The fire was reported shortly before 9.30pm.
A Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said it involved ten straw bales.
Using one hose reel, firefighters were able to get the flames under control by 9.45pm.
