GRATEFUL schoolchildren allowed their mothers to put their feet up for the afternoon and enjoy a nice cup of tea.
A Mother’s Day tea party at Aldeburgh Primary School saluted the tireless efforts of mothers, grandmothers, teachers and carers.
The Friends of Aldeburgh Primary School committee baked cakes and buns for the party, donated raffle prizes and supplied small gifts and cards for the children to give.
The pupils also enjoyed their own buns and squash and proceeds from the party will go to the school.
