BUXTON have confirmed the signing of Cumbrian youngster Craig Cook for a second successive season.

Cook made great strides forward in his debut campaign and will form a powerful Hitmen spearhead with local lad Adam Allott.

Hitmen chief Richard Moss said: “Craig surpassed all expectations last year, he is a determined young man who wants to succeed in the sport and always gives 110%.

“We are delighted that he wants to be back at Buxton and he will start the season as our number one.

“I'm sure he will consolidate on his performances from last year and will be aiming to increase his average both with ourselves and in the premier league with Workington.

“Our thanks go to Ian Thomas and the Workington promotion for letting us use Craig once again and I'm sure that the points he scores for Buxton will reflect in his confidence in the Premier League.”
