POLICE in Essex are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance after being called to reports of a man wielding a machete.
POLICE in Essex are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance after being called to reports of a man wielding a machete.
Officers were called to the scene, at the junction of Hatfield Road and Howbridge Road, in Witham, at around 2.30am on Sunday, October 25. Police are looking to trace a man and two women who were in the area at the time.
Two men from the town, aged 21 and 27, are currently on police bail until Tuesday, December 1 after being arrested in connection with the incident.
Anyone with information in connection with this disturbance is urged to contact investigating officers at Witham police station on 0300 333 4444.
