A MAJOR road in Suffolk was blocked for three hours today following a three-car collision in which two people were injured.
Emergency services were called to the Ipswich-bound carriageway of the A12 near Little Glemham at around 7.20am.
A woman was treated at the scene for a chest injury, while a man, believed to be in his 20s or 30s, was taken to Ipswich Hospital with head, neck and back injuries, which are not life-threatening.
Firefighters were called to help release the victims from their vehicles.
The collision - involving a blue Ford Escort, a blue Nissan Almera and a Black Ford Fiesta - closed both carriageways and diversions were put in place.
The road was re-opened at 10.30am after the vehicles had been recovered.
