POLICE have named a motorcyclist who was found dead in a field in Essex.
POLICE have named a motorcyclist who was found dead in a field in Essex.
Police believe Jonathan Allchin, 28, of Maple Road, Anerley, London, died at some point between Sunday evening and 7am yesterday.
Emergency services were contacted yesterday morning by a lorry driver who spotted a green Suzuki motorcycle in a field in Blake End Road, Great Saling.
The body of Mr Allchin was found nearby.
No other vehicle is believed to have been involved in the accident.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or who knows of Mr Allchin's movements in the hours leading up to the crash to contact Pc Jason Howard at Dunmow road policing unit on 0300 3334444.
