FOUR men will appear in court tomorrow after a teenager's jaw was broken in an alleged robbery in Essex.
The four were arrested after an 18-year-old was robbed of a gold chain, gold bracelet and mobile phone as he walked through Chelmsford's Central Park.
Essex Police said the incident happened at about 3am on Saturday and the teenager's jaw had been broken when his head was stamped on by the alleged assailants as he lay on the ground.
Four men, all in their 20s and from Essex, were arrested and later charged with robbery and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
They are all due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
The teenager, from Ingatestone, was taken to Chelmsford's Broomfield Hospital.
