MOTORISTS have experienced delays on the A14 following two crashes in the same area - one of which involved an ambulance.
AN ambulance was involved in a collision with another car while at the scene of a crash today.
The incident happened shortly after 3pm on the westbound carriageway of the A14 at Claydon. A Renault Clio had crashed and ended up on its roof. As an ambulance was manoeuvring into position to deal with a female casualty it was involved in a crash with another car.
The East of England Ambulance Service said it was a “minor shunt” and nobody was injured.
The female casualty from the first incident was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be serious.
