THERE was rush-hour pandemonium in Essex today after a lorry burst into flames on a motorway.
Firefighters were despatched to the northbound carriageway of the M11, around a mile from junction nine, at around 7am to tackle the blaze, which forced the road to be closed.
The mayhem was made even worse because another lorry had broken down around half-a-mile from the incident.
One lane of the motorway had re-opened at around 7.40am.
