MORE than 2,000 people gathered together in Ipswich to take part in a soulful celebration of God.The Pentacost '09 event saw about 2,500 people gather outside the Town Hall on the Cornhill today to sing together in praise of Jesus, with prayers being delivered in several different languages.

The Pentacost '09 event saw about 2,500 people gather outside the Town Hall on the Cornhill today to sing together in praise of Jesus, with prayers being delivered in several different languages.
Churches across town were closed for the morning so the Cornhill was the only place in the town where people could worship.
