PASSENGERS travelling on main line trains to and from London Liverpool Street today faced short delays after a line-side fire.
The 5pm train from Liverpool Street to Norwich was delayed following the fire and the 5.20pm train, due to arrive in Ipswich at 6.33pm, was started from Chelmsford and not Liverpool Street.
Underground trains were also affected due to a person under a train at Moorgate.
Hammersmith and City and Circle Line train encountered minor delays affecting journeys from around 5.30pm.
