A SCHOOLBOY has been given a unique opportunity to interview the man who has taken over the reigns at Ipswich Town Football Club.
Harry Stewart, a year ten student at Orwell High in Felixstowe, has received the go-ahead to put his questions on camera to the club's new chief executive Simon Clegg.
The 15-year-old will be the youngest person to interview Mr Clegg since his arrival at Portman Road and he can't wait to experience what seasoned journalists do on a daily basis.
Harry said: “Simon Clegg sounds like a very interesting man and I can't wait to put my questions to him.
“I do feel quite privileged that he has agreed to my interview although I am a bit nervous.”
The interview - which is being filmed for the school's on-line news bulletin - will focus on the importance of sport and healthy living for young people, how the new chief executive is settling-in with the Blues, as well as a look ahead to what the new season holds for the club under new manager Roy Keane.
Headteacher at Orwell High, Peter Tomkins said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Harry.
“We are always looking for opportunities for our students to push themselves and I think an interview at this level will really stretch Harry.”
